Woodzy was always destined to become a Poet, being born on World Poetry Day. From studying at the Brit School, to opening for the likes of Stormzy and being on BBC1Xtra & BBC Radio London. Having a poem on the tour of the Tower of London, to reaching over 1 million views on his poem “90s baby”
Woodzy captivates his audience with witty wordplay, incredible use of language and relatable topics.
His latest project “Peace Out, Peace In” was released on March 13th 2023. Merging spoken word and music together.
Aside from performing, Woodzy facilitates a variety of workshops in Schools, Colleges & Workplaces. Looking to change people’s perspective on poetry.
Woodzy continues to work on upcoming projects as one of the Flo Poets and as a Cultural Leader at Poetic Unity. Constantly looking to help grow the Worldwide poetry community and change the world one poem at a time.

Woodzy provides an arrange of different workshops for schools, colleges and workplaces.
From working in many schools in London, Essex, Surrey & West Sussex. Woodzy has worked with all year groups and can provide sessions from sixth form to Year 1 and everything inbetween!
These workshops range from introductions to Spoken Word & Poetry, to working on performance technique and how to pursue a career as a poet.

On World Book Day 2026, we had the pleasure to host the very talented Woodzy for our assembly and year 10 poetry workshop. The students and teachers were wowed by his beautiful work and his ability to draw out ideas from the pupils in creating their own poems. It was great to have such a positive role model for the students to look up to and also so important for the boys to see a young man so clearly into words, creating work and crafting language in such a powerful, deep, mesmerising and ‘cool’ way. We will definitely be looking forward to hosting him again in the near future to work with our students again.
Woodzy ran 5 back to back poetry workshops with our year 10 students- It was incredible! Our students were very engaged throughout and created some beautiful poems- I would highly recommend the workshops. They were very relevant to the GCSE poetry syllabus too- Thank you Woodzy.
Woodzy assembled, led and performed alongside a crew of incredible poets at Money20/20 Europe and Money20/20 USA for over 15,000 delegates. Three amazing activations included; a live improv show created by Woodzy inspired by “The Sound of Payments” an incredible “Poetry Service” that offered delegates personalised poems written live in front of them on vintage typewriters and a headline performance at our 2,000 capacity Industry sponsored by Google.
